Welcome to the King’s Head Hemsby – a proper village pub at the heart of the local community. Known and loved by our regulars, we’re a busy, welcoming spot where everyone feels at home – including your four-legged friends 🐾
We’re proud to be a dog-friendly real ale pub, serving well-kept ales alongside great, affordable food, with the majority of our dishes homemade. From classic pub favourites to our popular Sunday roasts, there’s something for everyone.
On colder days, settle in by the open fire and enjoy the comfort of excellent heating throughout the pub. When the sun’s out, relax on the front benches or unwind in our lovely beer garden out the back, with designated smoking areas available.
We also show live sport, with Sky Sports and TNT Sports covering football and many other much-loved sporting events – perfect for watching the big match with a pint in hand.
For a bit of friendly competition, we have a darts board and would be delighted to welcome any darts teams looking for a new home venue or regular drinking ground. Alongside that, we regularly host pub quizzes and karaoke nights, so it’s always worth keeping an eye on our socials or in-house notices to see what’s coming up next.
We offer both on-site and roadside parking for our guests. While we strive to be as accessible as possible, our building’s historic nature can present some challenges for wheelchair users. Please give us a call in advance of your visit—we’d love to discuss your specific needs and do our absolute best to accommodate you and ensure a comfortable stay.
